Restylane is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance your body produces. As we age, our bodies produce less hyaluronic acid. Because of this, Restylane can be injected into the skin to restore its volume and provide the natural look you want. At Quintessa Aesthetic Center, only a licensed and trained medical professional performs injection treatments. As one of Wisconsin’s most trusted medical spas, we guarantee professionalism and confidence-boosting results.

Restylane Injections
Dr. Campbell, our internationally renowned, double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, recommends seeing a licensed and trained medical professional when considering this treatment. Restylane is a well-tolerated dermal filler that can be injected beneath the skin’s surface. Some of the areas this is used include smile lines, lip lines, cheeks and the corners of the mouth.
Restylane has been used in over 1.4 million treatments in the US and is approved by the FDA as a safe dermal filler. However, no animal proteins are utilized but trace amounts of bacterial proteins are. Because of this, patients with a history of allergies to such materials are not recommended to use this product.
Restylane FAQs
Restylane can definitely contour the face to create any sort of shape that is desired, but if you really have an issue with significant volume need, you may want to consider either facial implants or fat grafting since it would become quite expensive to use multiple syringes of Restylane to overall change the shape of one’s face.
