Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty: Dorsal Hump, Tension Nose, Bulbous Tip, Airway Obstruction
This young man presented with concerns regarding his nasal appearance as well as his nasal breathing. He had a septal deviation which was addressed. There were multiple cosmetic enhancements performed. He had a small hump on lateral view. More importantly he had a tension nose, which really became apparent when smiling. A tension nose is the result of excess septal length, and his anterior septal angle can be seen on lateral view when smiling. On frontal view we narrowed his nose and refined his nasal tip.
