Breast Lift Surgery
- A “donut lift” (periareolar lift) - a simple incision around the areola to cause lift.
- A “lollipop lift” (vertical lift) - consists of an incision around the areola as well as a vertical incision from the bottom of the nipple downward.
- An “anchor lift” (wise pattern lift) - a similar lift to the vertical lift with the addition of an incision at the bottom of the breast.
what type of lift is best for me?
We can help you determine whether a donut lift, lollipop lift, or anchor lift is best for your individual situation. Quintessa’s board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Daniel Butz is a breast lift expert who has dealt with a wide variety of unique situations. Our surgeons, along with our staff of licensed professionals, are always available to guide you throughout the process and address any questions or concerns you may have before moving forward.
The breast lift procedure
First, patients will meet with one of our doctors who will give you all the information you’ll need to consider for this procedure and listen to your specific needs.
During the surgery, our surgeons will make a precise incision or incisions around the breast to cause the desired amount of lift.
Breast Lift Recovery
Recovery time after a breast lift is minimal. As with most breast-related surgeries, it is recommended that you avoid sleeping on your stomach for the first two weeks. The sutures are usually removed in a week and most people are usually able to return to work within that time as well.
