Question: I sweat an extreme amount. Will I be able to use my antiperspirant deodorant after laser hair removal from my armpits?
Answer: Yes, you will still be able to use your antiperspirant deodorant after laser hair removal. That said, I typically recommend that you wait until at least the following day after the treatment before applying as you may experience some irritation if you try to apply it any sooner than that. If you’re truly experiencing excessive sweating in the armpit area (hyperhidrosis), then I would recommend that you consider Botox in the armpits. This can be a very effective way to minimize the amount of sweating and can last for months. I personally do not perform these off-the-face treatments with Botox, but would refer you to other Quintessa team members who do.
