Liposuction for the face is a one-stage surgical procedure. Our double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Andrew Campbell, will place a small amount of anesthetic under the skin and then perform the facial liposuction. One dissolvable stitch is then placed in the area and the procedure is complete. Liposuction for the face takes around 5 minutes total.
After the procedure, a chin strap will be provided for the patient to wear for the night. Most of our patients are back to their daily lives the next day with amazing results. One of the benefits of this procedure is that once the fat is removed, it will never regrow.
