Question: How often do most women need to get a laser hair removal treatment on their legs, or once the hair is gone are there no more treatments necessary?
Answer: That really depends on the expectation of the woman as laser hair removal does an excellent job of reducing the number of hairs but we certainly cannot guarantee complete eradication of every single hair on a woman’s legs. We typically expect somewhere between 90 and 99% of the hairs to be gone permanently and if a patient desires 100% reduction she may need to occasionally come back in for spot treatments in attempt to eradicate all of the hairs. If she is happy with a very significant reduction in hairs then this is a permanent result and she may decide not to return for any additional treatments.
